The New Shougang International Talent Community, the latest urban renewal project in Shougang Park, is currently under construction and is expected to be unveiled this fall. It is situated to the east of the Park's north zone and is adjacent to the Beixin'an Station of Beijing Subway Line 11. This area is being developed as an ideal hub for international high-end talent to reside and work, as well as a center for experiencing a new urban lifestyle.

The construction of New Shougang International Talent Community is progressing rapidly

This area was originally used for sintering, which is the preliminary process of iron production. One of the buildings, which is dominated by a massive sintering machine, will transport you back to the bustling production scene with its well-preserved flue, overhead cranes, and rails.

As per the introduction, the two former factory buildings of the sinter plant were demolished and rebuilt into a mixed-use office and commercial space, with utmost care taken to preserve all industrial relics. The primary objective is to attract high-tech enterprises specializing in new-generation information technology, sci-tech services, smart city development, and information content consumption. Additionally, the project intends to introduce business models such as the Black Pearl dining brands, immersive theaters, and exquisite flagship stores.

The New Shougang International Talent Community project is a key initiative in Beijing and is among the first four international talent community pilot projects approved by the Leading Group for Beijing Talent Work. The project consists of ten plots, which are divided into north and south zones. It is positioned as a talent magnet, a hub for international exchanges on innovation and a new landmark for the capital's rejuvenation in the new era. The two talent apartment buildings offer 507 well-furnished units, providing a hotel-like accommodation experience to attract mid- to high-end company headquarters.
