Tang Hailong, Secretary of the CPC Pinggu District Committee, and Di Tao, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Pinggu District Committee and District Mayor, attended the event. A delegation led by Yuval Waks, Deputy Ambassador of Israeli Embassy in China, and Yoav Haimi, Ministerial Counsellor of Israel’s Trade Mission in China, visited Pinggu District along with the project leaders from the Israeli Chamber of Commerce in China (IsCham) and Eisenberg Agri Company (Beijing) Limited (EAC). The event was fruitful, as the two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on establishing communication channels and cooperation mechanisms, building a platform for promoting and applying agricultural technologies, and conducting practical cooperation in fields such as agricultural technology, leisure, culture, and tourism. They also achieved a consensus on setting up an Israeli exhibition area at the Jingwa Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Center.

During the discussion, officials from Pinggu District briefed about the development of the High-Tech Farming Z-Park, highlighting the district’s utilization of favorable natural resources and advantages in attracting other resources. With a focus on high-tech agriculture, high-capacity logistics, and new forms of entertainment, Pinggu aims to provide quality services to Beijing’s high-quality development in the new era. Pinggu District desires to learn from Israel’s technological strengths and latest research results in agricultural technology, as well as strengthen exchanges with its sister cities and famous enterprises in Israel to foster practical and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Yuval praised the fruitful and impressive results yielded by the High-Tech Farming Z-Park and expressed the willingness to expand cooperation and provide channels of exchanges and collaboration for enterprises to achieve mutual benefits. The Israeli Embassy in China will also give assistance in areas such as technology promotion, company recommendation, and visa application.
