2020 Football Games for Foreigners in Beijing held successfully

On October 31, the 2020 Football Games for Foreigners in Beijing was held at Changying Sports Park in Chaoyang District by Beijing Foreign Affairs Office and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports. About 160 Chinese and foreigners from 60 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America and Oceania participated in the games, including 120 foreigners working, studying and living in Beijing.

Eight teams participated in the games, including Korean Brothers Team, FEMO Team, WeTeam, UIBE Star Team (UIBE: University of International Business and Economics) and Beijing Foreign Affairs Team, etc. After fierce competition, USTB's International Students Team (USTB: University of Science and Technology Beijing), BISU's International Students Team (BISU: Beijing International Studies University), and UIBE Star Team won first, second and third place, respectively.

USTB's International Students Team won first place.

BISU's International Students Team won second place.

UIBE Star Team won third place.

Other interesting games, including football bowling, football billiards, and football darts were also held on the sidelines of the football matches, allowing the participants to enjoy not only the competition, but also health and great joy. 

The 2020 Football Games for Foreigners in Beijing is a municipal-level football event and a sports diplomacy brand mainly participated by foreigners in Beijing. It is aimed to create a platform for foreigners in Beijing to make friends through games, enrich their spare-time life, and help foster an internationalized environment suitable for foreigners to live and work.
