Hui-Tian Initiative

This is an initiative to improve the urban functions of the Huilongguan and Tiantongyuan areas in Changping District, two super-big and densely-populated residential areas that came as a product of the city’s urbanization efforts. Since 2018, Beijing has launched two phases of the Hui-Tian Initiative to improve livability through measures such as upgrading transportation, enhancing public services, and boosting local industries.
