Recognized as a priority sector, the pharmaceutical and health industry continues to benefit from supportive policies. Initiatives include establishing dedicated investment funds, providing fast-track approval for imported drugs and devices for urgent clinical need, and developing the Bio-Park. These measures are creating opportunities and greater convenience for domestic and international medical companies operating in Beijing. Siemens Healthineers is a world-leading medical technology company. We are ready to further deepen industrial cooperation with Siemens Healthineers, actively pursue joint innovation, and promote the development of digital healthcare. Yin anticipatedthat Siemens Healthineers will strengthen its R&D and key project development in Beijing, build an open platform for medical-engineering translation, and enhance collaboration with local enterprises, research institutions, and clinical trial centers to drive cutting-edge technologies. Closer integration with Beijing’s AI enterprises is also encouraged to foster emerging health services such as mobile diagnostics and intelligent medical engineering. Yin expressed hope that by leveraging Beijing’s pioneering policies, Siemens Healthineers will introduce more world-leading medical devices and therapies here to share the opportunities presented by the massive market.

Montag highlighted the dynamic innovation and strong growth of Beijing’s pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Siemens Healthineers plans to further expand its R&D and business footprint in Beijing by establishing an open medical-engineering translation platform, with a focus on areas such as AI and digital healthcare. The company will deepen collaboration with Beijing’s medical institutions, research institutes, and innovative enterprises to deliver more achievements and jointly advance public health and well-being.
