Yin Li Meets with Giuseppe Provenzano, Head of the Italian Democratic Party’s Foreign Affairs Department

On October 11, Yin Li, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, met with Giuseppe Provenzano, Head of the Italian Democratic Party’s Foreign Affairs Department, in Beijing.

Yin noted that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Italy. China is ready to work with Italy to implement the important consensus reached by the two national leaders, deepen inter-party exchanges, and strengthen cooperation, so as to advance China-Italy relations and enhance ties between China and the European Union (EU).

Provenzano said that the Democratic Party of Italy is willing to strengthen its traditional friendship with the CPC, promote further development of Italy-China and EU-China relations, and work together to address various global challenges.
