The Global Trade in Services Summit of the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (2023 CIFTIS) was held in Beijing on September 2. He Lifeng,  member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the event and declared the opening of the summit.

Before the summit started, the vice premier inspected the exhibition halls of the CIFTIS. During the tour, he visited the exhibition of achievements in trade in services and opening up of the service industry, exhibition halls of participating countries, as well as provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, and enterprises in China, and communicated with the exhibitors. He emphasized that China is working on new mechanisms for the development of trade in services to expand the opening of the modern service sectors. China is committed to sharing development opportunities with other countries and further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation.

Yin Li, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, presided over the summit and attended related events.
