Journalists from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan covered stories in Xicheng District
The 2024 group interview was successfully held for media representatives from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. More than 40 journalists from 26 media outlets visited Xicheng District, where they experienced the harmonious integration of antiquity and modernity.
The journalists visited several cultural landmarks in Xicheng District, including the Tai'an Li Cultural and Arts Center -- the first project to win the bid of the district’s cultural heritage revitalization plan, the Xuannan Cultural Museum, and the Beijing Huguang Guild Hall, which boasts a history of over 200 years. They marveled, "The integration of modernity and antiquity took me back in time, which is fascinating." During their visit, the journalists gained a deep understanding of Xicheng District's efforts to leverage the resources and utilize the space of guild halls, through market-oriented approaches. They expressed their willingness to delve deeper into Xicheng's story and report on more captivating aspects of the district, thereby promoting further exchanges across relevant sectors.

Head of Japanese Social Democratic Party visited Haidian's AI company
Mizuho Fukushima, the leader of the Japanese Social Democratic Party, led a delegation to visit Megvii, an AI company in Haidian District, to witness the company’s technological innovations.
In the exhibition hall, the Japanese delegation gained a detailed understanding of application scenarios of such technologies as city brain, intelligent logistics, and Megvii Automation & Robotics. They showed a keen interest in the prospects of AI technology and its applications. The delegation also expressed their hope for further exchanges and cooperation in the AI sector.

Forum on China-Europe Exchange and Cooperation on Sustainable Finance took place
The Forum on China-Europe Exchange and Cooperation on Sustainable Finance was held at the Beijing International Studies University, bringing together representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to China, China-Europe Green and Innovation Association, Green Development Center of the Investment Association of China, among other international institutions and social organizations.
Shan Binnuo, Minister-Counselor and Director of the Economic and Financial Department of the Delegation of the European Union to China, called for deeper dialogues and cooperation between China and the European Union in areas such as climate change and green finance.
