Hungarian delegation feels the future empowered by sci-tech innovation

Kinga Gál, Vice-President of Fidesz and Member of the European Parliament (MEP), led a delegation to the Lenovo Future Center in Haidian district to see how technological innovation will shape our future life.

The delegation tried out the smart home products, watched the intelligent robot making coffee and tasted it. They could not hold back their compliments at the sight of the latte art featuring Lenovo’s logo. The delegation also learned about the smart robotic dog, large-scale processor, and the model and mode of machines for industrial production, experiencing the charm of future technology in a multi-dimensional manner.

The event titled “China in the Eyes of Diplomats: Celebrate Lantern Festival in Poetic and Picturesque Mentougou” was held in the Tanko commercial area, Mentougou district.

Over 200 people, including diplomats from 66 countries such as Jordan, Austria, Thailand, and Brazil, and representatives of international organizations such as the Asian Development Bank and the EU, as well as their families, visited Mentougou district. At the event celebrating the Lantern Festival, they were treated to intangible cultural heritage, artistic performances, local food specialties, and the natural beauty of the district as an ecological conservation area. While watching performances like Junzhuang Drum, Taiping Drum, Diyangge Dance, Xiaochehui Dance, and Dragon Dance, diplomats and representatives of diplomatic missions were seen capturing the wonderful moments with their cell phones as they cheered for the performers. Bahamian Ambassador Paulette Bethel expressed her fascination with Chinese culture and noted the rich festive atmosphere of the Chinese New Year.

Yanqing District

Cuban Ambassador to China conducts research on rural revitalization

A few days ago, a delegation led by the Cuban Ambassador to China Alberto J.Blanco Silva and his spouse Moraima Rodríguez, visited Yanqing district to conduct research on rural revitalization. They were accompanied by Chen Zhou, Vice Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee. Yu Bo, Secretary of the CPC Yanqing District Committee, was also present.

The delegation went to Lipao Village in Badaling Town to gain a detailed understanding of the village’s industrial layout, infrastructure, and relevant supportive services. Through the introduction of local wasteland management, environmental improvement, and fruit and tourism industry development, they have gained valuable insights into the village’s rural revitalization practice led by Party building.

Ambassador said that the trip gave him a deeper understanding of China’s rural revitalization and the country’s initiative to build a beautiful countryside. Believing in a brighter future for Yanqing, he looks forward to deeper exchanges and cooperation between China and his country in the future.
