Recently, the Meeting of the CPC Fangshan District Leading Group for Improving Beijing’s Role as the Center for International Exchanges was held. Yang Bo, Secretary of the CPC Fangshan District Committee and Head of the District Leading Group; Di Zhixin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fangshan District Committee, District Mayor, and Head of the District Leading Group; and Zhang Houming, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Fangshan District Committee and Deputy Head of the District Leading Group, attended the meeting.

The meeting conveyed the guiding principles from the Municipal Leading Group and reviewed both the 2024 work summary and 2025 work priorities of the District Leading Group.

The meeting emphasized that the District must approach its work from a higher political standpoint, and attach great importance to advancing the tasks of improving Beijing’s role as the center for international exchanges. With unwavering commitment to its political responsibilities, it should seize the opportunities and make an all-out effort to fulfill its tasks. With a focus on work priorities, tasks entrusted by the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the Beijing Municipal Government should be properly completed. The District should ensure quality services for major activities to strengthen its capabilities of international exchanges, attracting more foreign-invested businesses to engage in the development of the four high-end, precision and cutting-edge industries. It should also continuously upgrade services for international trade businesses and reinforce foreign-related service capabilities in fields such as education, healthcare, housing, and tourism, with an endeavor to build a high-quality environment for international exchanges. The meeting also stressed the need to strengthen Party leadership and strictly implement responsibilities, with the capital’s development as the top priority. Following the highest standard of excellence, the District should steadily advance its work in accordance with the annual work priorities.
