The center provides services related to high-level delegations’ official visits, municipal organizations’ business trips abroad and international visitors to these organizations. It also offers services for the major international events as entrusted by the Foreign Affairs Office, organizes conferences and exhibitions both at home and abroad, and handles affairs entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs including those related to consular legalization. The center is a designated service provider for government procurement.

Responsibilities:
The center processes and reviews applications for passports, exit-entry permits for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, visas, and endorsements to travel documents from Beijing’s official delegations, applications for the APEC Business Travel Card from enterprise staff members in Beijing, and applications for Chinese visas from certain foreigners. It also assists Chinese citizens (including residents in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) who hold regular passports and third-country citizens in applying for visas for Japan and the Republic of Korea, and provides counseling and other exit-entry services.
