Beijing has rolled out COVID-19 booster shots for foreign nationals in Beijing, including vaccination for children and teenagers aged between 3 and 17. To facilitate vaccination on top of their existing inoculation, we wish to once again specify the COVID-19 booster shots arrangements for foreign nationals, including vaccination for those aged between 3 and 17 in Beijing as follows.

The vaccine recipients and the legal guardians of children and teenagers aged between 3 and 17 shall sign up for the shots voluntarily, give informed consent and acknowledge possible risks. Once you have arranged an appointment, please bring the valid ID card (passport and valid stay/residence permit) to the vaccination site.

Before vaccination, the recipient and the legal guardian shall thoroughly read the Informed Consent to Receive SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine, truthfully report the recipient's health conditions and comply with relevant inquires, so that the medical professionals onsite can determine whether the recipient is suitable for vaccination or not. The recipient or the guardian will be asked to sign an informed consent and a disclaimer of liability at the clinic.

After inoculation, please stay at the clinic for a 30-minute observation, and leave after confirming that there is no discomfort. Please consult the doctor at the clinic if the recipient experiences any discomfort.

The recipient or the guardian shall closely monitor the recipient's physical condition for 14 days upon vaccination. If the recipient develops any discomfort, please immediately go to the hospital for treatment.

All foreign nationals in Beijing are welcome to make an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccination, and join us in building an immunity defense of the capital.
