On April 6 and 7, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) and Russian Highways State Company (AVTODOR) carried out technical exchanges on China's highway construction via video link. Held under the framework of the Belt and Road Architectural University International Consortium (BRAUIC), the event also received support from the Research Institute of Highway of the Ministry of Transport and China Construction Accounting Institute.

The person in charge of BUCEA said at the opening ceremony that he hoped both sides would take this exchange opportunity to enhance mutual understanding, explore new models for jointly training road and bridge construction professionals, and carry out joint research to support high-quality development of the transportation industry in both countries. More than 80 representatives, including Igor Koval, Senior Vice Chairman of AVTODOR, attended the event.
