From August 3 to 8, China Music Valley - Spain Summer Camp was held in Pinggu District.

Several renowned artists from Lliria, Spain, were invited to give free music lectures and on-site one-on-one instruction to students and the general public at the Special Art Education Base in Donggaocun Town, Pinggu District. A symphony concert was also held for the benefit of local residents as part of the event, further promoting music and cultural exchanges between the two sides.

Since the signing of the Memorandum on Friendly Exchanges in 2017, Pinggu District and Lliria, Spain, have given full play to their own strengths to deepen exchanges through various forms, channels, and platforms. In 2019, the first “Spanish Music and Culture Study Tour” was held in Donggaocun Town, Pinggu District.
