A cooperation agreement was signed on June 25 between Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) and Belarus State Economic University (BSEU).

According to the agreement, the two universities will continue to deepen all-round cooperation in areas such as student cultivation, faculty exchange, academic discipline development, and joint scientific research, thus facilitating people-to-people exchanges between China and Belarus. The two sides will also collaborate on initiatives related to the preservation of Beijing’s old town, urban renewal, and the establishment of the Great Stone Industrial Park.

Egorov, Rector of the BSEU, expressed great anticipation for further cooperation with the BUCEA. He expected to combine BSEU’s strengths in humanities and social sciences, such as economics, law, and language, with BUCEA’s expertise in engineering, to foster high-level inter-university cooperation in discipline integration and interdisciplinary research.

Founded in 1933 and located in the capital city of Minsk, the Belarus State Economic University (BSEU) is one of the oldest universities and one of the largest economic institutions of higher education in Belarus. It consists of 12 schools, including the School of Accounting and Economics, School of Economics and Management, School of Finance and Banking, School of International Business Communications, and School of International Economic Relations, as well as 49 departments, with over 13,000 students enrolled.
