London Book Fair 2023 Opens with More Eyes on China's High-Quality Books

On April 18, the London Book Fair 2023 opened at Olympia London, with a variety of Chinese books such as Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volumes I-IV) gaining wide attention.

More than 40 domestic publishers participated, including China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration (China International Communications Group), China Publishing Group Co., Ltd., China Education Publishing & Media Group Ltd., Shanghai Century Publishing (Group) Co., Ltd., Phoenix Publishing & Media Group, China Youth Publishing Group, and China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd. (CNPIEC).

The exhibition area of Chinese publishers covers 386 square meters and features over 2,300 books. Highlights include the Chinese and foreign language versions of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volumes I-IV), the "Footprint" series, and other works of General Secretary Xi Jinping, as well as relevant books. Additionally popular theoretical books that promote and interpret the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, excellent cultural achievements such as Rejuvenation Library and A Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Paintings, as well as other philosophical and social science books are also on display.

The London Book Fair, originated in 1971, is one of the most important events in the global publishing industry. During this year's book fair, Chinese exhibitors held over 30 publishing exchange activities.
