On the afternoon of April 19, 2022, Zhongguancun-Abu Dhabi Meeting on Exchange of Business Opportunities was held both online and offline at ZHONG GUAN CUN NO.1. Domestic audience interacted with overseas guests on the cloud during the meeting, which attracted 16,500 hits online.

Co-hosted by the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science City and Abu Dhabi Investment Office, the meeting was designed to attract international innovation resources, serve enterprises of Zhongguancun Science City as they venture abroad, and promote the development of the core area of the international center for innovation in Haidian District.

At the meeting, the representative of the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science City briefed the audience on the general situation of Zhongguancun Science City. He said that both China and the UAE attached great importance to scientific and technological innovation and the development of new and high-tech industries, and expressed hopes to expand and deepen cooperation. The representative of the Commerce Bureau of Haidian District, Beijing, gave a thorough introduction of the free trade zone and comprehensive demonstration zone of Haidian District in all aspects, including the background of establishment, locations, favourable policies and innovative measures of the "two zones".

Besides, Souad AI Hosani from Abu Dhabi Investment Office attended via video link and delivered a speech. She said that Abu Dhabi was willing to provide financial and policy support for Chinese enterprises and welcomed them to explore the market in Abu Dhabi. What's more, Diana Yonghui Ma, foreign investment expert of Abu Dhabi Investment Office, introduced the development advantages and pro-enterprise policies that high-tech industries in Abu Dhabi enjoy, covering such areas as economy, taxation and subsidies.
