On November 24, the 2023 Reception in Honor of Foreign Diplomatic Missions to China was held in Beijing, drawing envoys from 101 diplomatic missions to the National Speed Skating Oval (also known as the "Ice Ribbon"). Prior to the reception, diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations as well as their spouses took part in various activities at the venue, including interacting with robots, taking test drives in autonomous vehicles, enjoying figure skating performances, and trying skating themselves.
