On October 22, the first offline themed shooting event of the "Beijing·A Global City" Short Video Contest directed by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and organized by Guangming Online was held at the Yanqi Lake International Conference Center. More than 20 foreign experts in Beijing from 10 countries including Russia, South Korea, Pakistan, Cuba, and Morocco participated.

Yanqi Lake was sparkling in autumn with white gulls flying over it and the Asia-Pacific Forest of Partners turning golden. As the main venue of APEC in 2014 and two Belt and Road Forums for International Cooperation, Yanqi Lake International Conference Center is important for Beijing to play its role as a center for international exchanges. On the theme of "serving the country's overall diplomacy", this offline shooting guided participants to focus on the continuous improvement of major facilities and services for international exchanges and fully demonstrated Beijing's efforts in building itself an International Exchange Center.

Foreign experts visited several attractions such as the Yanqi Lake International Conference Center, the sightseeing platform on the 9th floor of the Yanqi Tower, the logo statue of the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, where they listened carefully to the introduction, imagining the grand occasion of the two forums. They took numerous pictures and recorded endless videos from different angles.
