A first prize winner, Zhang Yusi, from Beijing Technology and Business University, said: "We have gained a lot from participating in the 'Beijing·A Global City' Short Video Contest. In the hutong, we saw international friends doing morning exercises under the shade of Chinese-style buildings; in the business district, we explored fashion brands from all over the world; in the art district, we admired art works from different cultures. Beijing's appearance is changing with each passing day, and it has become an international metropolis."

A second prize winner from Jingshan Park said: "Jingshan Park is an important landmark on the central axis of Beijing. Its historical record can be traced back to The Travels of Marco Polo. In Jingshan Park, visitors can appreciate its profound cultural heritage. After climbing to the Wanchun Pavilion, they can overlook the Palace Museum, the CBD area and the Olympic Sports Center. I'd like to thank the contest for giving Jingshan Park an opportunity to present Beijing as a global city."

Third prize winner Bao Meishan, a Canadian child of Chinese origin, said: "As the saying goes, 'Food is the first necessity of man.' We spread Beijing's food culture in our eyes to the rest of the world. With the platform built by the short video contest, we introduced the ancient yet modern Beijing to friends all over the world."
