On October 26, 2021, Pakistani Ambassador to China Moin ul Haque and his delegation were invited to visit Zhongguancun Exhibition Center.

Ambassador Moin ul Haque listened to the introduction of the development history of the Zhongguancun Science Park and visited the frontier innovation achievements of Zhongguancun-based high-tech enterprises in innovation and entrepreneurship, next-generation information technology, biology and health, energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy, smart transportation, intelligent equipment, etc. He also had discussions with Zhongguancun the Belt and Road Industrial Promotion Association (ZBRA) and the representative enterprises of the Park.

Ambassador Moin ul Haque had a keen interest in advanced technologies and applications such as green building materials, self-driving technology, and artificial intelligence. He said that China is one of the world’s leading countries in 5G technology, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, etc. Pakistan actively supports Chinese enterprises to fully participate in the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor by continuously deepening bilateral economic, trade and technological cooperation. Enterprises in Zhongguancun Technology Park are welcome to develop in the technology and industrial parks in Pakistan.

In order to better improve Beijing’s role as the center for international exchanges and serve the economic and social development of the capital city, the foreign affairs offices of the Municipality and all districts have actively supported and guided social organizations and enterprises to give full play to their own advantages and make good use of foreign affairs resources to expand communication channels and carry out practical cooperation. The Pakistani ambassador to China’s visit to Zhongguancun Technology Park is a concrete practice of taking advantage of foreign affairs resources to serve the development of social organizations and enterprises.
