On August 3, the Dubai Organizing Committee of the World Digital Economy Forum and Chaoyang District Administrative Committee of Jinzhan International Cooperation Service Zone signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the Data Value and Service Sub-forum of the first Global Digital Economy Conference.

The Global Digital Economy Conference is organized by the China Association for Promoting International Economic & Technical Cooperation. It aims to build a platform for international cooperation and exchanges to lead the development of the global digital economy. Going forward, the China Association for Promoting International Economic & Technical Cooperation will continue to maximize its channel advantage with the UAE, actively promote the cooperation between Chaoyang District and the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, facilitate the building of a digital industry exchange platform between Beijing and the Middle East, and make it easier for digital enterprises to expand their business abroad.

Beijing is currently adhering to world-class standards, and striving to present the "Beijing model" of China's digital economy development with best practices. Focusing on the central work of the city, the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality actively fulfills its duty of handling matters which fall under its jurisdiction and delivering good services, enhances efforts to disseminate and promote policy, facilitates Beijing's digital economy development, and guides relevant decoupled national associations and chambers of commerce including China Association for Promoting International Economic & Technical Cooperation to participate in Beijing's development as a benchmark city for global digital economy.
