Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the Office of the Foreign Affairs Committee of CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government, in conjunction with relevant municipal departments, have actively guided Beijing-based NGOs to donate anti-epidemic materials to Beijing's sister cities in an orderly manner. They have donated protective items and traditional Chinese medicine to Indonesia's Jakarta, Hungary's Budapest, Belarus' Minsk and Armenia's Yerevan, and the mayors of these cities have sent letters of gratitude to Beijing municipal leaders. On June 16, the anti-virus supplies raised by Beijing Branch of Red Cross Society of China, Wenzhou Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Beijing and Dragon Design Foundation successfully arrived in Bucharest to help the city with virus containment.
