On June 26, local time, BUCG's Bangladesh Sylhet International Airport Expansion Project Department (hereinafter referred to as the "Sylhet Project Department") actively responded to the call of Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, fulfilled its social responsibilities as a state-owned enterprise from Beijing, carried out voluntary activities, and successfully completed the "Spring Sprout" Program in the Sylhet District of Bangladesh.

The "Spring Sprout" program aimed at vaccinating overseas Chinese citizens against COVID-19 was officially launched in Bangladesh on May 29. After receiving the request from the Chinese Embassy for assistance in carrying out the program, BUCG's Sylhet Project Department actively responded and sent volunteers to explain the vaccination process and precautions in the jurisdiction for the employees of Chinese-funded enterprises ready for vaccination, and assisted the embassy in inspecting the vaccinating hospitals, making coordination and maintaining the order of on-site vaccination.

The Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh expressed its appreciation of and heartfelt thanks to the BUCG's volunteers for their assistance in vaccination regardless of risks. Despite the tough COVID-19 situations in Bangladesh, BUCG's employees stand fast and remain at their posts to overcome difficulties. While ensuring that the project is completed on time and with quality, they actively practice social responsibility and have fully demonstrated the image of a state-owned enterprise from Beijing, the capital of China.
