China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the world's largest fair for trade in services and a prestigious event in China, is one of the three major exhibitions for China's opening-up. One month after the launch of CIFTIS digital platform on June 16, new function modules, including online exhibition hall, online meeting reservation, project release, smart matchmaking and customer service center, became available. Developed jointly by the office of Beijing municipal leading group on the preparation and services for CIFTIS  and JD.com, these new modules help match supply and demand and assist Chinese and overseas exhibitors in holding business talks and exploring cooperation opportunities, allowing them to attend a year-long virtual fair.

Live broadcast at the online exhibition hall helps promote projects

The online exhibition hall on the CIFTIS digital platform is where virtual exhibition activities are staged. After online registration and application, exhibitors can build their own virtual booth based on the template provided by the platform. They can use large-size images, videos and HTML5 interactive animations to show their most important products and services, core competitiveness and best practices. In just a few easy steps, exhibitors can promote these contents onto the CIFTIS platform.

Live-stream service is also available. Exhibitors can apply for a live-stream room to promote their trade in service projects and share their experience.

Online reservation allows more meetings to be held

Meetings have always been an integral part of CIFTIS. The online reservation system of CIFTIS digital platform enables participating companies or institutions to apply for an online meeting.

Based on the resources and technological support of JD Cloud & AI, CIFTIS digital platform allows 500 online meetings to be staged concurrently.

Leveraging the technological advantages of JD Cloud & AI in smart customer service, CIFTIS 2020 provides one-stop AI customer service. Online robots and human operators and a round-the-clock call center will be available on the digital platform. All these services are available in both Chinese and English.

A customer service robot will be available to answer questions all day long. It has completed machine learning through AI training, and is able to answer questions about the CIFTIS, exhibitions, the exhibition hall and offer guidance for exhibitors. It can thus handle calls from users in most cases. For the questions it fails to answer, users can turn to online human operators or the call center to seek further advice.
