III. Content

Themed "Center for International Exchanges in Pictures", the activity calls for documentary photographic works capturing the highlights of Beijing's major projects in improving its role as the national center for international exchanges, encouraging participants to use cameras to record and interpret the changes and stories. Professional photographers will be invited to take pictures of key functional areas and projects for international exchanges such as the Yanqi Lake cluster project, the second and third phases of the New China International Exhibition Center, three cultural landmarks in Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (a theatre, a library, and a museum), and the Fourth Embassy Zone, to record the progress, changes, and important moments in the ongoing major projects, and keep alive the warm stories special to the project participants.

IV. Entry Guidelines

1. The Photo Festival welcomes participation of photography enthusiasts from all walks of life. There is no requirement on participants' age or location, and entries can be submitted in the name of an individual or a team.

Please name your work "Entrant Name+Contact Info+Work Title" and send it along with the entry form in a zip file to the email: gyjzbj2022@163.com. (Each entrant should only submit one entry form so please fill in all works by category and in sequence.)

Note: Entrants shall be the creator and own independent, complete, clear and undisputed copyrights of the overall and components of the work submitted. Entrants shall ensure that the submitted works do not infringe upon the legal rights and interests of any third party, including but not limited to copyrights, portrait rights, reputation rights, and privacy rights.

2. Photographs (pictures) submitted must be original and positive. No plagiarism or misappropriation is allowed.

3. There is no restriction on shooting equipment, and mobile phones are encouraged. Adjustments to brightness, contrast, sharpness, tone, and cropping are permitted, but synthetic photos will not be accepted. Submissions could be a single photograph or group photographs with 4-6 pics, in color/black-and-white, with a minimum resolution of 2000dpi (1000dpi for mobile) in JPEG format.

4. There is no entry fee, and submitted works (storage medium included) will not be returned. If the submitted works are damaged or lost in the mailing or sending process, or received after the submission date or not received, the entrant shall be responsible for the related losses and consequences.

V. Award Setting and Display

1. Review: A panel of industry experts will be invited by the organizing committee to evaluate the entries from various aspects including relevance to the theme and emotional appeal, and select winners in the principles of fairness and impartiality.

2. After the review of entries from targeted and open submissions, 30 pieces (sets) will be selected for Excellent Awards. The winners will receive a bonus of 500 yuan and a certificate, and the winning works will be collected and displayed in an album.

3. Excellent Organization Awards are set for participating organizations.
