In response to the call of the Work Committee for Organizations Directly under the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, Office of Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality organized teams to attend the 6th Sports Meeting of Organizations Directly under the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee. The Party leadership group of the Office attached great importance to the sports meeting. All the participants were fully prepared through hard training during their spare time. They fought together with great tenacity in five team events. Ultimately, they claimed the runner-up of Group B in Mixed Team Table Tennis and came third in the overall score, representing high morale of all officials working at the Office.

The Office cares for its staff’s physical and mental health and encourages them to take part in public fitness activities that help maintain a strong body and positive mindset, such as brisk walking, cycling, running and fitness exercises. This fall, more than 600 staff did the exercises at their work breaks, and over 110 did race walking, cycling and running in their spare time.

Going forward, the Office will continue to organize diverse fitness activities to build up the health of all staff, so that they can contribute more to Beijing's role as a center for international exchanges and to the capital city's development in the new era.
